Is VERITY Good? From Commercial Fiction Thriller Novel to Mid Film Adaptation, Ending Explained
I should disclaim: I was always destined to dislike Verity. Plenty of people love the novel, and it seemed like a lot of people in the theater enjoyed director Michael Showalter’s film adaptation. I didn’t like either one, despite significant ways the film is different from the book, but I never really believed that I would like either of them. I have several reasons for my distaste.
