Where to Watch the 2026 Oscars in Atlanta
Here are the best places to watch the 98th Academy Awards in Atlanta.
During last year’s Academy Awards, I was ridiculous and predicted every category’s winners with my heart: I bet on what I wanted to win, rather than predicted winners. And I was incorrect in every single category. I’m sorry: I just can’t bet against myself, you know?
This year, I’m hoping to enact a two-player strategy. I’m hoping my spouse and I will do our ballots together. One of us will vote predictions, and the other will vote for what we want to win. This strategy does hinge on the assumption that we will share one mind on every category, but… well, we’ll cross that bridge when we get there.
I’m still planning to celebrate the culmination of awards season as if all my favorites will win, and here are three excellent options to watch the 2026 Oscars in Atlanta.
ENZO's Oscars Viewing Party (in Trilith)
benefiting Two Sparrows Village and Variety – the Children’s Charity of Georgia
6PM-?
I want to watch Awards Ceremonies as if I am in attendance at the actual ceremony. Formal attire, red carpet, and awesome food non-negotiable. Enzo’s Oscars Viewing Party was in my top three events I attended in all of 2025… and I like to party, so there were a lot to choose from.
From what I’m hearing, this year’s Oscars Viewing Party is stacking up to be even more epic. Last year, the Oscars screening party was held in ENZO Italian steakhouse restaurant, both in- and outdoor (climate controlled) seating, located inside the community of Trilith. This year, the party is held at the new venue, GTC Trilith Cinemas.
But, ENZO is still providing the food, which was so impressive last year: it was seven courses, each more decadent than the one before it because Chef Andrea Amontobbio knows what he’s about. When I tell you that, I mean we had everything from charcuterie to cannoli (my kryptonite when done well—which it was) to lamb chops, and popcorn served from inside a wheel of parmesan throughout. Talk about cinematic, am I right? Plus, there were cocktails (2 included) and champagne to go around.
During the ceremonies themselves, emcee Stephen Brown of Silver Screen Capture will emcee and dispense treasured movie memorabilia to those who predict category winners, as well. It should be a very interactive experience!
Oscars Watch Party & Potluck at the Supermarket
7-10PM
The Supermarket is a really funky, creative venue with a lot of character. It’s in the former cellar of a grocery store in Poncey-Highland, and it has two art galleries, a main event space, and two performance rooms. It’s pretty big, and I’m not sure which area (or all?) will hold this screening, but it stands to reason it’ll be in one of the theatres at least.
The dress code here has many options: you can wear “a red carpet look,” a costume from a 2025 Oscars-eligible movie, an actor cosplay, or just rep movie merch. There’s a red carpet entrance and voting ballots here, and they only require a free RSVP and a dish to share at the potluck—although a donation to the space is highly encouraged. They’re also giving out awards for Best Dressed and Best Dish!
Hollywood’s Biggest Night: Watch Party at The Plaza Theatre
Doors open at 6, the show begins at 7PM
If you’re an Atlanta local, then you know it’s hard to beat The Plaza as a venue, especially when the night is all about Hollywood glamor. It first opened in 1939, and thank God it has maintained its gorgeous art deco style ever since—it’s actually Atlanta’s longest running independent cinema!
And this year, The Plaza is hosting its Oscars Watch Party for free. They say “sequins and sweatpants are equally welcome,” but you may as well get photo-ready if you’re headed to a screening in a venue as classic and gorgeous as this one!
The 98th Oscars begin at 7PM EDT on Sunday, March 15. If you’re looking for where to stream the Oscars from your own home, you can watch on streaming services like Hulu Live TV, YouTubeTV, and AT&T TV. And many of these services offer a free trial!
